Brief
As the current market-leading food delivery company in the online space, foodpanda wanted to establish a physical presence to further engage their fans and followers in the community. The event also introduced a new “Pick Up” option on the foodpanda app.
Solution
We had to bring the vibrancy of the online food delivery platform to life in a picnic party for everyone - families, expats, and youths.
We showcased 13 food vendors across a wide range of cuisines to fully emphasize foodpanda’s offerings. In line with their sustainability values, the event was plastic-free, with all packaging made from biodegradable sugar cane pulp.
We created an urban street party aesthetic by filling the seating area with bright pink bean bags and curating a lineup of local bands and DJs on a side stage. F45 and WeBarre came in with free fitness classes, and lawn games kept the little ones entertained to elevate the community spirit, thus appealing to a wide audience.
The event also introduced the “Pick-up” option, with other cashless payment methods like DBS Paylah! also accepted.
To mark their first street party, we shot and produced a short aftermovie for foodpanda that truly captured the spirit of bites x vibes.
